Awards for Mount Holyoke College divisions

Teams and personnel across the Mount Holyoke College campus won regional and national honors.
Mount Holyoke College’s Alum Association, Career Development Center and Marketing and Communications teams were recently honored with multiple regional and national awards.
At the North East Alumni Relations (NEAR) Conference, Mount Holyoke received the “Most Courageous Decision Award” for the Alum Association’s name change — a powerful, mission-driven move that affirms the College’s inclusive, evolving community. The award celebrates all of those who helped lead this effort with clarity, compassion and care.
The NEAR Conference also brought home wins for innovation and rising talent. The Alum Maker Retreat, a new initiative focused on creative entrepreneurship and led by Alum Association Strategic Initiatives Advisor Leslie Smith Green ’94, received the “Best New Program Award.” In addition, Marisol Fernandez de Cordova ’20, assistant director of volunteer engagement, was named a finalist for “Rookie of the Year.”
At the Alumni Career Services Network Conference, the Career Development Center’s Assistant Director of External Relations Meaghan Murphy-Rennie was honored with the “Rising Star Award” in recognition of her leadership in career development for alums.
Rounding out the winning streak, the Office of Marketing and Communications received a Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) Circle of Excellence Award for the social media campaign “Engaging Intergenerational Audiences During Reunion Weekends.” This national honor from CASE recognizes exceptional strategy and creativity in engaging a diverse alum base. The judges cited the campaign’s “excellent harnessing of existing resources to try something new and drive increased engagement of multiple audiences.”
These awards celebrate the heart of Mount Holyoke’s engagement and outreach work: creative programming, meaningful connection and a willingness to lead with boldness and purpose.
