Fellowships at Mount Holyoke celebrates 2026 recipients

Mount Holyoke College congratulates our recipients, alternates and finalists of the 2025–2026 fellowship application cycles.

The 2025–2026 fellowships application cycle saw 102 Mount Holyoke College community members submit 126 applications for 30 unique awards — and those are just the folks who connected with Fellowships at Mount Holyoke (FMH). Below, please find a list of outstanding MHC students and alums — some of whom worked with FMH and some of whom applied directly or through their graduate schools — who advanced through their respective competitions. Alternates and finalists are listed alongside the recipients to highlight the fantastic accomplishment of making it this far through the process amid large pools of distinguished applicants.

Premier programs

To receive one of these prestigious fellowships, individuals must first complete an internal campus process by submitting an application to the Mount Holyoke Committee on Fellowships. The organizations that sponsor these fellowships rely upon campus officials to review eligibility and then endorse and nominate applicants.

Immense thanks to the Committee on Fellowships — Sarah Adelman, Alanna Hoyer-Leitzel, Gretchen Lay and Suparna Roychoudhury — for their work assessing and providing feedback on applications this year. Additional thanks to the many faculty and staff members who served on review subcommittees and mock interview panels: Sarah Bacon, Maria Cartagena, Ken Colodner, Rick Feldman, Sarah Frenette, Janelle Gagnon, Jaime Grillo, Kavita Khory, Chris Mitchell, Kelley O'Carroll, Adelia Pope, Jared Schwartzer, April Stroud, Jenny Watermill, Craig Woodard and Kelly Woods.
