Kannille Washington ’28, a Mount Holyoke College sophomore, named one of the 12 inaugural Voices of the Future Fellows.
Kannille Washington ’28, a Mount Holyoke College sophomore, was selected as a 2026 Effie LIONS Foundation Voices of the Future Fellow. Washington is one of 12 fellows from 10 countries selected from hundreds of applicants for the program’s inaugural year.
Voices of the Future is an eight-month global fellowship program created by the Effie LIONS Foundation to identify, train and place a global cohort of culturally fluent, artificial intelligence-native marketing students.
“I am very grateful to have been accepted and excited to get to know the other fellows and gain experience in the industry,” said Washington.
Voices of the Future provides access and experience as entry-level career opportunities decrease and culturally connected talent becomes essential to the future of the marketing industry. With the support of the 2026 presenting sponsor, Adobe, the fellowship aims to equip globally diverse, high-potential students with the skills, networks and real-world experience needed to succeed in the marketing field.
As part of the fellowship, Washington will attend the 2026 Cannes LIONS International Festival of Creativity in France this June, one of the most prestigious events in the global marketing and creative industries.
Washington, a psychology major, is one of 12 fellows from 10 different countries, selected from hundreds of applicants for the program's inaugural year after a competitive application and interview process
