I am a fourth-year medical student at Yale School of Medicine, applying for residency in internal medicine this fall. I double majored in chemistry and biology and Professor Wei Chen was my thesis adviser.
Having a strong background in basic science and research has tremendously enhanced my understanding of the fundamental aspect of medicine as it relates to clinical practice. I plan to pursue a career in academic medicine in the future.
