How to make a payment on your bill
Bills can be paid online via TouchNet, by mail or wire transfer. International students and families are encouraged to pay using Flywire. Student loans and 529 plans can also be used to pay your bill.
Students: Login to my.mtholyoke select “Course Registration & Bill Payment” from the self service menu, and choose “Student Account and Payment”
Authorized users: Log in to TouchNet
Paying by mail
Checks should be made out to Mount Holyoke College and should include the student’s full name and MHC ID on the check. The payment stub from the bill is not required to be included with payment but is helpful. Please mail the check to:
Mount Holyoke College
Student Financial Services
50 College Street
South Hadley, MA 01075
Check payments from a 529 plan will need to be processed by your 529 plan first before being sent to our office, so allow extra time to be sure we receive it by the semester due date.
Can others log in to view and make payments on my bill?
Yes. But before they can do so, you need to make them an authorized user.
Making international payments
Mount Holyoke College has partnered with Flywire in order to streamline the process of international payments. Flywire allows you to pay securely from any country and any bank, generally in your home currency.
By making your payment with Flywire you can:
- Save time and money on educational payments.
- You get fast, simple, secure and cost-effective wire transfers.
- Save on bank fees and exchange rates - Flywire will match any bank rate.
- Contact their multilingual customer support team with any questions, day or night.
- Track your payments from start to finish.
Payment can also be made on a U.S. Bank using TouchNet as an alternative to wiring payment.
Late payments and late fees
A late fee will be added to your account balance if your payment is not received by the payment due date. Late fees of 1% per month will be assessed on past due balances (balance forward) before each monthly bill is generated.
Your MHC email is the official notification for eBill. You are expected to regularly check your MHC email for bill notifications and notices regarding your student account. You should check your spam filter and mailbox limit to make sure they can always accept email from Student Financial Services. You are responsible for payment by the due date, even if you don’t see your email notification. Your bill is always available to view through my.mtholyoke, with or without email notifications.
Registration, housing and transcript holds
Registration and housing holds take effect if you have a significant past due balance. You may not register for the next semester, receive approval to study abroad, participate in the housing lottery or receive your diploma until your past due balance is paid in full or satisfactory payment arrangements are made. Transcript holds are invoked for any current student with a past due balance of $100 or more. Former students may not order transcripts unless the balance is paid in full.
