Our online billing system is called TouchNet — we do not send paper bills. You can access your eBill through my.mtholyoke. In order for others to see and make payments to your bill, you will need to set them up as authorized users in TouchNet.
You can view your bill online at any time. You and your authorized users can print an official bill from TouchNet for your records or other agencies. You can also view current and past bills and view all student account activity.
You should never give your username and password to anyone to view your bill. Instead, set up authorized users with a separate login and password.
IMPORTANT: In order for Student Financial Services staff to discuss any details of a student's bill with anyone other than the student, the person must be an authorized user.
The July and December bills include semester charges.

The semester bill for tuition, room, board and mandatory fees is available online approximately three weeks before the due date. Payment in full is expected by the due date.
The annual health insurance fee is billed for the full year in July. Students enrolled in the spring semester only are billed for seven months of coverage on the December bill. The fee can be waived with proof of comparable coverage and must be waived online each year by the published deadline, or students will be responsible for full payment. The monthly bill shows charges and credits in detail for the prior month as well as past due balances and the balance due. Campus charges for books, health services, parking, equestrian center, library and course materials are included on the bill as they occur.
Some course registrations, such as riding or music lessons for non-majors, include additional registration fees as well. Full information on fees may be found in the course catalog. Payment for these charges is due in the month when they occur.
Financial aid is disbursed at the start of each semester and will show as pending on your student account until then. If you have outstanding financial aid requirements, aid will continue to show as pending through September, for the fall semester, and through January, for the spring semester. If your aid is showing as pending past the start of the semester, you should check Financial Aid Online to ensure we have received all of your required documents.
If you have a revised financial aid package, there may be a time lag between the financial aid revision and the crediting of the student account system. Check back in a day or so, and it should be resolved.
You are paid directly for your work-study position, so that money will not be reflected on your bill as a payment.
Students receive an email directing them to my.mtholyoke to view their ebill. Authorized users cannot access my.mtholyoke. They are sent directly to TouchNet’s authorized user login page. Only you and your authorized users will get the email when the eBill is ready to view.
Your bill will be available for you and anyone you designate as an authorized user in the TouchNet system.
MHC payment plans will be reflected in the “Payment Account Details” in TouchNet. As you make installment payments, they will be reflected in the statement activity each month.
Aid that is expected but not yet disbursed, such as loan funds or expected outside scholarships, will display as pending aid for the first three bills of each semester, and no late fee will be charged.
At the end of September and the end of February, pending aid is no longer taken into consideration when determining the balance due. For the fall semester, all required paperwork should be received and promissory notes signed by September 30 to ensure that all aid and loans can be disbursed by the time the October statement is generated. For the spring, the notes should be signed by February 15.
If you are expecting a scholarship from an outside source that has not been credited by the September bill in the fall or the February bill in the spring, please call 413-538-2291 or email Student Financial Services because paperwork may be missing from the file.
Once pending aid is no longer considered, late fees will be applied on all past due balances regardless of the expectation of outstanding aid or loans.
Please notify Student Financial Services if you will be using any funds to pay the balance due that are not listed on the bill.
The enrollment deposit is a payment that you make in advance to hold your place in the class. It will be applied to your first semester bill, reducing the cost by $500.
In addition to paying the current balance, you or your authorized users may pay for future charges on your bill.
Bills can be paid online via TouchNet, by mail or wire transfer. International students and families are encouraged to pay using Flywire. Student loans and 529 plans can also be used to pay your bill.

Checks should be made out to Mount Holyoke College and should include the student’s full name and MHC ID on the check. The payment stub from the bill is not required to be included with payment but is helpful. Please mail the check to:

Check payments from a 529 plan will need to be processed by your 529 plan first before being sent to our office, so allow extra time to be sure we receive it by the semester due date.
Can others log in to view and make payments on my bill?
Yes. But before they can do so, you need to make them an authorized user.
Mount Holyoke College has partnered with Flywire in order to streamline the process of international payments.
A late fee will be added to your account balance if your payment is not received by the payment due date. Late fees of 1% per month will be assessed on past due balances (balance forward) before each monthly bill is generated.
Your MHC email is the official notification for eBill. You are expected to regularly check your MHC email for bill notifications and notices regarding your student account. You should check your spam filter and mailbox limit to make sure they can always accept email from Student Financial Services. You are responsible for payment by the due date, even if you don’t see your email notification. Your bill is always available to view through my.mtholyoke, with or without email notifications.
Students with large past due balances for tuition and fees are reviewed at the end of every semester for possible financial withdrawal. If acceptable payment arrangements are not made by a specified date then a student may be removed from courses in an upcoming semester and administratively withdrawn from the college. Students are notified prior to withdrawal and are encouraged to work with Student Financial Services through the year to resolve any balances due to the college.
Balances due may also result in the withholding of a student's diploma upon graduation, as well as the release of official college transcripts.
