Wendy Rua

Wendy identifies and secures funding from foundations, corporations, and government agencies to support institutional initiatives and other College priorities. 

Joining Mount Holyoke College in 2017, Wendy was previously the TLI Program Coordinator (2017-2023). Wendy also served on Staff Council from 2019- 2023. 

Wendy is an MHC alum, with a B.A. in Psychology & Education. Her previous experience includes a diversity of experiences in social work and in the public school system. 

Wendy is currently an elected official for the Town of Agawam, serving as a School Committee member. Born and raised in Western MA, she is also busy raising three sons with her husband, Mario.

Recent Campus News

More than 200 Mount Holyoke sophomores attended the College’s most recent Sophomore Institute, a four-day event on career readiness that connected them with over 300 alums.

Judy Richardson, civil rights activist and filmmaker, was in conversation with Mount Holyoke College President Danielle R. Holley for the College’s annual Martin Luther King Jr. and Coretta Scott King Series on Racial Justice and Reconciliation.

Alum Weijing (Vickie) Liu ’22 is the second Mount Holyoke College alum named to the prestigious graduate program.
