Cunha, Flávia Terra (2025) received an official citation from the Massachusetts House of Representatives in recognition of volunteer work involving translation and interpretation services for the Amherst Survival Center.


Daniel Czitrom's book, Media and the American Mind: From Morse to McLuhan, has just been translated into Korean by Culturelook Publishing in Seoul. It had previously been translated into Chinese and Spanish. First published in 1982 by the University of North Carolina Press, Media and the American Mind received the First Books Award from the American Historical Association. It remains in print today.

Naomi Darling Architecture was awarded two AIA awards in December from the Western Mass AIA Chapter.    Takahashi-Harb Loft and Library was awarded a Merit Award. This was a conversion of a ground floor walk-out basement and garage into a one bedroom loft-style apartment and library in Milford CT.   Solar Time was awarded a Citation Award. The project was a collaboration with Darrell Petit, and was part of the XTCA - Cross Town Contemporary Art Exhibition organized by the UMass University Museum of Contemporary Art.
