As part of the annual Careers in Public Service trip to Washington D.C., Mount Holyoke students met with alums who have forged brilliant public service careers as well as Supreme Court Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson.

Legal scholar and New York Times bestselling novelist Alafair Burke spoke at Mount Holyoke College about how her liberal arts education led to a career as an author of 20 crime novels.

Mount Holyoke College film and media student Aderet Fishbane has been selected as one of NBCU’s Original Voices Accelerator Fellows. The six-month fellowship is designed to provide a direct pipeline to a career for young creatives.

Two Mount Holyoke College students will spend the next year conducting advanced research as part of the Beckman Scholars Program. They will each conduct 15-month, one-on-one mentored research projects with College faculty.
