My experiences studying Italian at Mount Holyoke, interning at Universita' Ca' Foscari, studying abroad at the Universita' di Bologna, and working as an Italian tutor have all added up to be unforgettable and priceless experiences in my life.
I was encouraged by my advisors and professors of biochemistry, Drs. Lilian Hsu and Kathryn McMenimen, to pursue internships outside Mount Holyoke to amass technical skills and build connections which proved pivotal in gaining acceptance at the Mayo Graduate School.
A blended major combined my love of music and science and set me on an interdisciplinary path.
If you have always dreamed of being an explorer, or if you are in love with the Italian language, I recommend this internship.
