Keep up with all the ways in which the Mount Holyoke community is pushing the limits of human knowledge, building lasting bonds and leading the way forward — on campus and around the world.

My education and internships paved the path to a better understanding of my research interests and professional aspirations.
My chemistry background was integral to the work done during that summer since an extensive knowledge of chemistry is needed to follow the major tenets of proper conservation procedure, which are: never do something which cannot be undone, and preserve as much of the original object as possible.
Lab work taught me to think analytically, seek out new opportunities, and recognize challenges as important learning experiences.
“At Mount Holyoke, I learned that wherever I am, if I have passion for what I’m doing, I have the power to foster the things I care about most.”
My close connection with Morena Svaldi in Italian studies has made me realize that I am more capable of doing things than I may initially believe. Having her support throughout my entire four years has been incredible. I would not be where I am without her.
While in graduate school, I began to combine my love of dance and medicine through an internship with Boston Ballet.
They can say no, and from the start, I relied on my love of Dance.
In particular, I consider that the rigorous and yet "out-of-the-box" training, that I received from the exceptional faculty in the chemistry, biochemistry and biology departments at Mount Holyoke, provided me with a strong scientific foundation on which to build an exciting and rewarding career.
Finding a rewarding career path after an unexpected beginning.
My internship experience was fantastic because of the wonderful people I worked with and the magical city that is Venice.
